Service provider Blue Water has won a logistics contract with FPSO leasing company Yinson Production to manage the transportation of the topside modules for the Agogo FPSO – located in Angola’s West Hub offshore oilfield in Block 15/06.
Under the terms of the contract, Blue Water will manage the transportation of 15 modules – the heaviest weighing 3211 tons – for the FPSO, including domestic movement within China and international shipping from Indonesia and Vietnam to China. The first transport is scheduled for May 2024.
Jason Goh, Regional Director: Asia at Blue Water said, “This collaboration is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team at Blue Water. We are eager to contribute our expertise and deliver outstanding logistics solutions.”
The Agogo Oilfield Development is operated by international energy company Azule Energy while the FPSO is managed by Yinson Production. The project is set to come online in 2025.
